  • My name is Nolan Macey, the founder of Links n Rinks, a brand born from the love and passion of these 2 special games. Growing up, I was raised in Ontario, spending weeks in and out playing hockey, the drives to and from the rink, hitting a driving range with my dad at the early ages of single digits. I would spend weekends at our cottage in Minden, Ontario with the cottage scenery making my life all I could ever ask for. 

  • Growing up, hockey and golf have become an escape to me. Since I can remember, anxiety and mental health has always been something that I have battled with. The more and more I learned, I found the beauty in being open and honest to the people that are around me, and have learned more to share the struggles and help people along the way. 

    I have been fortunate enough to have the people in my life today, and knowing that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. I believe talking about how we are feeling and what we are going through goes such a long way, and I battle to break the stigma surrounding mental health and providing a helping hand to people around me. 

    The sports are so much more than sports to me; they are an extension of peace, happiness, and joy around them and the people in it. 

    Links n Rinks is an extension of that. It represents the stories and memories we have, the escape they can provide, and the love that they can bring to us.
